The 10th Army Patch was worn from 29 August 1944 to 15 October 1945.
The United States Tenth Army was organized in June 1944 at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The Tenth Army was charged with and carrying out the invasion of the Ryukyus Island Group during WW II. The composition of the design red and white are the colors associated with armies, the roman numerial ten indicates it's numerical designation.
