Worn: 10 July 1969 - February 1969.
Blue and white are the colors associated with infantry. The tongue of flame aludes to the unit's firepwoer, and the bayonet, a basic infantry weapon, is symbolic of carrying the fight to the enemy. Together, the flame and bayonet refer to the unit's spirit and readiness to engage the enemy in a fire fight or hand-to-hand combat with the bayonet.
Campaigns: World War II and Vietnam.
Decorations: Belgian Fouragere 1940, Republic of Vietnam Croses of Gallantry with Palm.
