The 7th Corps Patch was worn from 19 November 1918 to 15 April 1992.
The VII Corps was organized in August of 1918 in the Regular Army at Remiremont, France. The seven-pointed star and the arabic number seven indicates the unit's designation.The red, white and blue are national colors. The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 28 April 1944.
