82nd Airborne (All American)Division Patch

The insignia was approved for the 82d Division by the Adjutant General, American Expeditionary Forces on October 21, 1918 and was confirmed by the Adjutant general, War Department on July 8, 1922.
The double "A" refers to the nickname "All American Division" adopted by the organization in France during World War I.
Campaigns: World War I, World War II, Vietnam, and Armed Forces Expeditions.
Decorations: Army- Presidential Unit Citation, French Croix de Guerre with Palm- WW II, French Croix de Guerre Fourragere- WW II, Belgian Fourragere, Netherlands Military Order of William Orange Lanyard.
