Equipment Operator (EO) Navy Rate Patch 1st-3rd Class

This is the appropriate rating patch for US Navy personnel with the rating of Equipment Operator EO1, EO2, or EO3. Navy rates are only sold as first class rates and can be cut to second or third class.

Equipment Operators (EO) work with heavy machinery such as bulldozers, power shovels, pile drivers, etc. They use this machinery to dig ditches, excavate for building foundations, break up old concrete or asphalt paving and pour new paving. They grade and remove debris from construction sites, raise girders, and move and set in place other pieces of equipment or materials needed for the job.

The U.S. Navy Enlisted Left Sleeve Rating Patch is Swiss-Loomed on midnight navy-blue wool serge material. By tradition the Petty Officer 1st Class patch must be hemmed to the proper rank for Petty Officer 2nd Class and Petty Officer 3rd Class.
